Announcements are made on Channel 13, the FCPS and BSMS website, via Facebook and Twitter, and through the local media.

Congratulations to our 2014 PTA Reflections Art contest! First and second place winners will advance to the district level competition, and winning entries in the visual art, photography, literature and film production categories will be exhibited at the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center for Gallery Hop, Nov. 21, 5-8 pm. Additionally, Mr. Diaz choose two “Principal's Awards”. First place in Dance Choreography is Andrew Lewis! First place in Film Production is Andrew Lewis! First place in Music Composition is Andrew Lewis! In Photography, first place is Elke Coenders! Second place is Andrew Lewis! Third place is Madeline Farrar! The Principals Award is Brendley Nathaniel! In Visual Art, first place is Elke Coenders! Second place is Victoria Jackson! Third Place is Madeline Farrar! The Principal’s Award is Kayley Chadwell! Participants Awards go to Kimmie Stone, Andrew Lewis, and Cheyenne Alexander! In Literature. first place is Brendley Nathaniel! Second place is Ariana Sanchez! Third place is Allie Moore! Congratulations to this year’s yearbook staff: Kaitlyn Tyson, Anna Seebold, Kaylee Jeffries, Natalie Polly, Ruby Sharrard, Elena Verdecchia, Caitlyn Deffendall, Caelyn Walton-Macauly, & Haley Kinney.

Two cross country runners from Bryan Station Middle Cchool competed in the "Beat the Heat" meet at Woodford County. Leading the way was Bailey Morgerson who placed 2nd with a time of 9:26. Not far behind was Jacob Tellman who placed 17th.

Congratulations to the Strolling Strings! They will be performing the National Anthem at the Legend’s baseball game.
Congratulations to our jazz band! They will perform for the 16th annual PTSA luncheon.
Congratulations to BSMS Battle of the Books - Team Captain Claire Skubik Peplaski, Maria Kirwan, & Tatianna Hudson! They made it to finals and took 3rd place in the district! You can catch the competition on Channel 13 or program link on the YouTube channel.
