*  Congratulations to our district science fair winners!

Kyle Lewis won 1st place in Animal Science.
Evan Covert won 1st place in Behavioral & Social.
Elke Coenders won 2nd place in Behavioral & Social.
James William Grant won 2nd place in Chemistry.
Eliza Mullins won 1st place in Engineering.
Elko Kuvliev won 2nd place in Microbiology.
Andrew Lewis won the KAW Water Award.

*  Congratulations to our Dance Team!  They won 1st place in their dance team competition at Eastern Kentucky University!  We are proud of you all!

*  Congratulations to our Band Program!   We had 17 students get accepted into the Fayette County Honors Band and 3 student alternates! These students are: Landon Hodge, Wesley Doyle, Noah Shofner, Frances Kilgore, Zachariah Oliver, Jack Hollingshead, Evelyn Real, Colin Neal, Lance Young, Micaela Niebuhr, Erin Kendall, Rebekah Dutton, Jonathan Hicks, Colin Ferguson (First chair for the 2nd year in a row!), Phenex Schwarz-Ward, Sebastian Astolfo, & Zachary Henz!  Way to go Bercats!

*  Congratulations to the 15 students who won our school science fair and will continue to the district level on February 11th!  We are proud of your hard work!  They are Elko Kuvliev, Evan Covert, Rick O'Neil, Kyle Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Elke Coenders, Rebekah Dutton, Anna Seabold, Jacob Jordan, Landon Hodge, Kendall Smith, James William Grant, Acacia Smallwood, Eliza Mullins, & Elena Verdecchia!

*  Congratulations to our Dance and Cheerleading Teams!  They won the spirit award at their competition!  Way to go!

*  Congratulations to our Reflections winners Elke Coenders and Andrew Peng!  Elke received the Award of Excellence in Visual Arts & Photography.  She also won the Award of Merit in Literature.  Andrew was the overall winner in Visual Arts. Andrew will advance to the state for Visual Art and Elke will advance to the state for Photography.  Awesome Job!!!!

*  Congratulations to our football team for a great season!!!!!!  They had an undefeated season!

*  Station Rain Garden Unites Campus - The high school and middle school combine forces to open our outdoor classroom.

*  Congratulations to Taylor Davies and Ariana Sanchez!  They are the top winners in the Edible Book Contest at BSMS.

*  Congratulations to several of our Alpha League students!  They went to Washington DC to visit the White House, museums, and Howard University.


* Congratulations to Mr. Doak for being named in the FCPS Staff Spotlight!

*  Congratulations to Mr. Bordas for being named in the FCPS Staff Spotlight!

*  Congratulations to our Cross Country team for placing third in the city championships!


*  BSMS Cheerleaders were invited to cheer at a Tennessee Titan's game!

*  Congratulations to our Volleyball team!  They won a bronze medal at the Bluegrass State Games.  Way to go Bearcats!

*  Alpha League on the radio!  Please help with donations to send these young men to Washington DC!  Check out their Facebook page.

*  Congratulations to our track team at the state meet!!!  BSMS Girls came in 3rd place at State Championships and Won City Championships.  The boys came in 4th place at State Championships and 3rd Place at City Championships. No other school had both goys and girls teams place so high at state or city.

*  Congratulations to Andrew Lewis!!!  He won 1st place in the state science fair!  He will now continue to the national level in June.  The top national finalists get a trip to Washington and meet President Obama!! Congratulations Andrew!  We are very proud of you!!!!!

*  The Herald Leader recognized BSMS 7th graders who tested and qualified for state accolades in the Duke Talent Identification Program.  Congratulations to Grace Brown, Sarah Jones, Benjamin Shapere, Acacia Smallwood and Elena Verdecchia!  Click here for the full list of district qualifiers! *  Congratulations to our Track Team!  During the City Championship, BSMS Girls Won 1st Place, Boys Won 3rd Place with the Fayette County Male Athlete of the year going to William Wharton and the Fayette County Female Athlete of the year going to Kayla Smalley!! Congratulations All!

*  Congratulations to the Jazz Band!  They earned a distinguished rating at Henry Clay High School for Jazz Assessment.  This is our first time ever going. Congratulations!!!

*  Congratulations to the Orchestra!  They earned a Superior rating  and won 1st place of all orchestras at the Music in Parks assessment in Louisville.  Way to go Bearcats!

*  Alane Adams, author of The Red Sun, visits BSMS to speak to students and to play her game BattleKasters! Click here for the article

*  Congratulations to our Robotics Team!  They won 1st place in the state robotics tournament beating out all state high schools!  Congratulations!  We are proud of you!

*  Congratulations to BSMS Battle of the Books team!! Arden Ensor, Grace Brown, Erin Kendall, Hannah Campbell and Zach Henz, team captain, won 1st place in the district finals at Norsworthy!  You can see the competition on Channel 13 or through our online link here.  Way to go Bearcats!!!

*  Congratulations to all our bands and orchestras! They each earned a distinquished rating at their assessment at UK!  We are proud of you!

*  Cincinnati's Professional Wheelchair Basketball Team Visits Bryan Station Middle School!

*  Congratulations to our "B" team boy's basketball team for winning the city championships!!!  We are proud of you guys!!!!!

*  Congratulations to our Dance and Cheer teams for winning first place in their division during the tournament!

*  Deafness no obstacle for dance team at Bryan Station Middle - Way to go Bailey Locker!!!
